Warehouse
Dear Glen,
I was showing my workmates how fast I could go and then I crashed into a box. Then all the boxes in the warehouse fell to the ground like dominoes and one of my workmates got injured. I got an ambulance to come and get my injured mate. All we have to do now is pack up. I have already started cleaning I will clean all night long and all day long so please do not get angry with me. I did not try to crash it was an accident i will never ever do such a dumb thing in my life again.
I am very sorry about what I did please please please please please please please don’t fire me.
Yours sincerely,
Malia
Christmas Day 1914
Te Watea's writing from the viewpoint of Jim.
24th December Christmas eve:
All of my teammates are singing so I join along and I got up and put my hands up and the other soldiers got there guns out. I went closer and then the other soldiers put their guns down and walked closer to me. Otto suddenly walked towards me and shook my hand. We played a game of football and then suddenly bombs and guns were blowing up and shooting. So sadly we went back to our base and I got a cracker and I hope Otto got his chocolate I can’t wait until this war ends!
