Number Circles

Here is our class learning our multiplication times tables by playing a game Miss Joblin made up called Number Circles. Hwre are the steps to playing the game. 1. Write four numbers around the circle and two must be between 5-10. 2. Find two counters. 3. Find a partner. 4. Throw counters on the board. 5. Times the two numbers together. 5. Try to work the awswer out. 6. Swap over and let your partner have a turn.

Persuasive Writing

In Tanemahuta we have been busy writing persuasive arguments about what is the best fruit, what is the best pet, Should children have homework. We have been learning to write in paragraphs and start our sentences with capital letters.
